Duane Verner

Duane Verner is responsible for implementation of Development Supported Agriculture practices as they relate to the Home Owner's Association at Harvest. He is also establishing the Central Farm truffle orchard at Harvest.

Duane has been involved with truffle farming since 2004, is a partner in a truffle orchard in nearby Pittsboro, and he is also Secretary of the North American Truffle Grower's Association. As an avid fly-fisherman and former National Park Ranger, Duane looks forward to calling Jordan Lake State Recreation Area his backyard.

Mr. Verner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Hiram College and a Master of Urban Planning from Cleveland State University.

Hunter is the resident truffle-dog-in-training at Harvest. He holds no formal titles but does come from a long line of top German imports bred exclusively as working dogs - we are confident that these qualities will surface in Hunter any day now.
